About this Sculpture
Fabricated with aluminum and lit from within using LED lights that cast a soft, green glow at night.
The artist wanted to create a work that was both wayfinding and also symbol of healing, “I envision Regeneration for the Cancer Center as a beacon on the corner, and a recognizable landmark…Nature is the continuous thread that runs through my works of art. The sculptural gateway is an amalgamation of natural forms that emphasize the richness of the human capacity to uplift and move forward in the face of setbacks and adversity.” –Barbara Grygutis
