Bedford Gallery is an elegant and distinctive venue for your upcoming reception, business meeting, cocktail party, or special event.
The gallery is a 3,500 square foot contemporary art space with soaring ceilings, hardwood floors, and abundant natural light. Located in Walnut Creek’s Lesher Center for the Arts, it is the largest community-minded visual arts facility between the Bay Area and Sacramento.
Accessibility
The Lesher Center for the Arts is conveniently located near Highways 24 and 680. Four blocks south of the Walnut Creek BART station. Adjacent to the gallery is a 5 level parking garage. Bedford Gallery is fully wheelchair accessible.
Capacity
The gallery can accommodate a maximum of 250 guests for your event.* Tables, chairs, technical equipment / services, and security are also available. Our Lesher Center Approved Caterers appreciate the gallery’s spacious preparation area and street-level access.
*Subject to prior approval from the Curator, dependent on type of event and current exhibition.

Rental Restrictions Policy
When you rent our facility, you agree to the following —
- A certificate of liability is required.
- No decorations, food, or beverages that could endanger the works of art
- Red wines or dark juices at curator's discretion
- No open-flame candles allowed
- All tables must be at least 24" from free standing art and gallery walls. Gallery staff reserve the right to alter the table arrangement at any time.
- Artwork is not to be moved. Inquire with gallery staff to request a change in the current exhibition's layout. An art handling fee will be charged for changes in exhibition layout.
- Gallery and Lederer Art Space must be left in the same condition as found.
