Portia Munson: Her Room/Her World CLOSING DAY

September 30^th 2018 – December 16^th 2018

 Her Room/Her World features prints, video, paintings, and installations by New York artist Portia Munson, who approaches environmental and cultural themes from a feminist perspective. At the center of the exhibition is a large installation titled Pink Room, consisting of thousands of discarded pink objects. Pink Room is a visual overload of products that were created to appeal specifically to women and girls, representing mass seduction and consumption.

 Join us on the closing day of the exhibition Her Room/Her World with the artist Portia Munson who will lead a workshop on creating art from upcycled, everyday objects that are otherwise discarded. A perfect opportunity to make holiday gifts! All ages welcome. 

The workshop comes with the cost of admission: 

Adult $5, Youth 13-17 $3, Children 12 & under free. Free for Bedford Gallery members.
